BIOGRAPHY
Ivan Kharchenko was born in Russia in 1947 and graduated as a textile artist from Moscow University of Textile Industry. He lived and worked in Zagorsk, Russia, and enjoyed a reputation of a highly skilled landscape artist. He painted in a realistic manner, yet was able to render distinct romantic mood and lyrical overtones in seemingly uncomplicated studies of nature.
